Jeni's hair loss story

My grandmother is why I became a scientist. She is also why I want to keep the hair I have.

Jeni's hair story

My grandmother was one of the first women to graduate from her University with a Chemistry degree. She went to work as a scientist at a time when women did not go to work as scientists. She is tough as nails, brilliant, and stunningly beautiful. I am so fortunate to carry her genes and consider it my responsibility to live up to their potential.

Carrying her genes is also why I want to do all I can to keep my hair. She has worn a wig to cover her thinning and now, barely-there hair for as long as I can remember. Hair loss runs in my family, and I assume it is in my future.

As a girl who loves her crazy, frizzy hair, it is important to me to do what I can to prevent losing it. As a scientist, it’s important to me to find a scientifically proven solution that really does work.

The results from the clinical study behind KeepItAnchored is why it was so important to me create the brand. It is why I believe I can get some control over future hair loss. Just by lowering scalp stress – technically known as scalp oxidative stress – early and excessive hair loss can be prevented. I’m good with that. I can’t change my genes…nor would I ever want to.

We would love to hear your hair loss stories - we all have them! If you want to share, please email me at jeni@keepitanchored.com.
