Mitch's hair loss story

"Basically, every male blood relative I have has lost their hair or is in the process of losing it"

Mitch

When I was younger, I never gave my hair a second thought - or even my clothes. It wasn’t that long ago when I was rolling out of bed and going to university classes in clothes that could be mistaken for pajamas.

Now in my mid-20’s, it’s different. My job in sales means constantly needing to make a good first impression. I wear a suit to work and started putting product in my hair. People will make a judgement about how professional you are based on how well you take care of yourself.

About the time I started working was when I noticed my hair seemed different. I thought maybe it was the hair product I was using that was making my hair feel brittle and come out in my hands when I showered. But then there’s this. Basically, every male blood relative I have has lost their hair or is in the process of losing it.

I haven’t noticed a big change in my hairline, but hair loss is probably in my future. I want to do everything I can to eliminate that. And that's why I'm on my 4th month of KeepItAnchored.
